Encision Inc. (Encision) is a medical device company that has developed and launched technology, which can be used in minimally-invasive surgery. Encision’s AEM technology provides surgeons with the desired tissue effects, while preventing stray electrosurgical energy that can cause unintended and unseen tissue injury. The Company offers shielded and monitored instruments, which enables surgeons to perform electrosurgical procedures. Encision also has a new line of handles that are used for advanced laparoscopic procedures. Its product line includes a range of articulating instruments (scissors, graspers and dissectors), fixed-tip electrodes and suction-irrigation electrodes. These AEM Instruments are available in an array of reusable and disposable options. The Company also markets the AEM Monitor product line that is used in conjunction with the AEM Instruments.
