Description
Wellington College was founded by Queen Victoria and Prime Minister The Earl of Derby in 1859 as the national monument to Britain's greatest military figure, the Duke of Wellington, who also served the country with distinction twice as Prime Minister.

Wellington College is a vibrant and popular co-educational boarding and day school where girls and boys learn to be leaders for life.

We aim to provide a unique opportunity in the breadth and depth of education we offer, which goes beyond academic success into every sphere of life. Students are stretched intellectually, artistically, aesthetically, physically, musically and spiritually.

Energy, passion and commitment are difficult to convey on a website. We encourage you to visit the school if you are not familiar with us or our work, or call us to talk further about your own particular interest in Wellington.
