As a regional, nonprofit health care system, Munson Healthcare provides direct access to more than 400 physicians, representing 41 specialty services. Munson Healthcare is comprised of seven hospitals located throughout northern Michigan , Munson Medical Center in Traverse City and Paul Oliver Memorial Hospital in Frankfort. In addition, Munson Healthcare manages Kalkaska Memorial Health Center in Kalkaska, Mercy Hospital in Cadillac, and Mercy Hospital in Grayling and is affiliated with West Shore Medical Center in Manistee and Otsego Memorial Hospital in Gaylord. Services are also available at Munson Community Health Center in Traverse City and Mercy Community Health Center in Prudenville. Munson Healthcare offers a continuum of health care services to people from 24 counties.

To ensure patients have access to care that's close to home, Munson Healthcare works closely with Alpena General Hospital in Alpena and War Memorial Hospital in Sault St. Marie. Relationships with these facilities further ensure patients will have a smooth transition when the services of a larger medical center are needed.

In Traverse City, emergency medical services are available at Munson Medical Center. For minor emergencies or urgent care, a walk-in clinic can be found at Munson Community Health Center.

Urgent care and emergency medical services are also available at Kalkaska Memorial Health Center, Mercy Hospital Cadillac, Mercy Hospital Grayling, and Paul Oliver Memorial Hospital.

Munson Healthcare also includes a fully-integrated, emergency medical and patient transport service, North Flight. Busing services are also available for those unable to access transportation.

Munson Healthcare offers in-home care through Munson Home Health and Munson Hospice and Palliative Care. Other specialty services and resources are offered by Munson Healthcare and are available right in your community , speech and hearing clinics, physical rehabilitation, CAT scans, magnetic resonance imaging, and cardiac catheterization.

The Northern Michigan Supply Alliance (NMSA) is owned by Munson Healthcare and Trinity Health, and performs all supply chain management functions for its members.
