ACE ACADEMY

Description

ACE Academy is a private, independent school for gifted and high-achieving students in Austin, Texas. As an applicant school in the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (PYP), ACE combines strong, integrated academic curriculum with a global outlook. We currently serve students from Kindergarten through 5th grade in flexible groupings. For the 2006-7 school year, ACE Academy will offer grades Pre-K to 6th grade (ages 3-12) in flexible groupings. We expect to add a grade every year.

Our Mission is to teach, support, affirm, and nurture individuals in realizing their intellectual, emotional, social, and creative potential.

Our Vision is to provide a learning environment in which gifted learners can explore their passions, push their limits, celebrate their talents, and truly become citizens of the world.

Our Strategy is simple, unique and powerful. We bring gifted and creative students together with a teaching and administrative staff who are themselves passionate about giftedness and creativity. We provide flexibility to explore new ideas, to test the limits of current knowledge, to mix robotics with classic core curriculum. What sets ACE apart from other schools is our attention to emotional intelligence, so that our students feel confident developing their particular talents.
