The Small Business Development & International Trade Center provides a variety of services to clients in San Diego and Imperial counties. Our services are designed to assist small business owners expand their operations profitably. Additionally, we help businesses interested in international expansion navigate the complexities of importing and/or exporting.
Our services are provided without cost and include the following:
1. One-On-One Counseling - Counselors and consultants work with clients to address specific issues or concerns including international trade transactions. Assistance is also provided for business expansion financing and export financing. To schedule an appointment, call (619)482-6391.
2. Training Programs - We provide a series of business and trade seminars and workshops by industry leaders, experts, and innovators. Click here to see a list of upcoming workshops and seminars.
3. Procurement Assistance - Businesses interested in selling their products and/or services to federal, state, and local agencies should look into procurement assistance. Existing businesses can contact the Contracting Opportunities Center in Mission Valley for government procurement assistance.
4. Research, Information and Referral Services & Internet and Web Business Strategies - Through our extensive contacts we can assist you in finding the correct resources, agencies, services, and key information to help your business succeed. The facilities at our Business Resource Center and our professional consultants can also help businesses utilize the most powerful marketing tool of this century- the internet.
