Blue Diamond has further increased the scope of its service provision with the acquisition of security company ASAP Protection Limited.

This latest development follows the acquisition of Comatec (UK) Ltd in the Autumn of last year which also substantially expanded the size of the business and further strengthens the company's position as a major force in the commercial cleaning and FM marketplace.

Based in London, ASAP offers a range of manned security services that include manned guarding, event security, personal protection, protective chauffeuring, investigation, retail protection, airline safety and training. Clients include auctioneers Philips De Pury Luxembourg and Bonhams, IKEA, Arla Foods and event companies such as Banana Split Plc and Dream Events.

Formed in 2002 ASAP currently employs up to 100 personnel who perform a range of protection tasks in 40 different locations around the UK . Since its inception, the company has built a reputation for handling high profile events and high profile man guarding.

Its personnel, mostly drawn from military, police and government protection units worldwide, are all trained to the highest standards and have the flexibility to serve in a number of capacities, whether protecting diplomats, celebrities, corporations, retail outlets, or individuals and their families.
