From our home-grown Soda for Charity program to sorting items at the Greater Boston Food Bank, we genuinely enjoy working together on projects that help the communities where we live and work.
Management is particularly proud that so many ZoomInfo folks contribute their own time and resources outside of work to community and charitable efforts. Whether they’re logging 26.2 miles for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society or volunteering with their local Girl Scout troop, giving back seems to be an instinctive part of the corporate culture here. The fact is we tend to hire folks who not only have a good head on their shoulders, but also have their heart in the right place. Here are just a few examples of Zoomers in action.

GREATER BOSTON FOOD BANK
On June 4, 2009, some thirty employees hopped on a trolley and headed over to the Food Bank warehouse in South Boston where they sorted food for over 4,000 meals. The Food Bank is the largest hunger-relief organization in New England and one of the largest food banks in the country. They distribute approximately 30 million pounds of food and grocery products annually to a network of approximately 600 member hunger-relief agencies. This was such a rewarding experience for everyone we plan on making it an annual event. |
SODA FOR CHARITY The Soda for Charity program is the brainchild of Human Resources Manager and Controller Brenda Luebbers. The Company used to supply employees with free soda, but Brenda got tired of finding half empty bottles in conference rooms (she IS the controller after all). Anyway, Brenda figured if folks had to pay for their beverages they might be a little more mindful, especially if the cash they had to shell out went to someone who really needed it. And so, the infamous Soda for Charity program was born. Employees submit the names of their favorite charities and every month proceeds go to a different non-profit. To date, our copious cola consumption has generated thousands in donations to local charities near and dear to our hearts. Yay Brenda! Yay caffeine! |
HOLIDAY GIVING Every December, we’re pleased to hand deliver holiday gifts to kids at the Italian Home in Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts. The Italian Home is a residential and day treatment facility for emotionally and behaviorally challenged children of all races, nationalities and religions. Every year these good people assist over 300 children from throughout the state. |
