Earlier this month, we launched a new ZoomInfo.com designed to provide the business world a single site to find information on industries, companies, people and products. While our PowerSearch subscribers noticed this new information three months earlier, users of our free business information search engine now enjoy free access to profiles on more than companies. More details on the new version can be found here, or you can read what the rest of the industry had to say here.

The new ZoomInfo.com makes company information much easier to search, across many more categories -- a great benefit for the many users who search for companies by name as part of their passive candidate searches.  One such user is Shally Steckerl, Chief CyberSleuth of JobMachine.net, who has explored the new ZoomInfo.com at length. In this month’s article he explains how he uses ZoomInfo.com’s company search to start passive candidate sourcing and then with one click gets his list of targeted candidates from PowerSearch.

ZoomInfo is happy to present an educational webinar with Shally that will expand on this article, and provide more of his tips and tricks. As a reminder, we host archives of all of our webinars here. With the summer months and maybe a little downtime on the near horizon, I hope you can take advantage of these educational pieces.

Maximizing your Passive Candidate Search

By: Shally Steckerl, Founder, JobMachine, Inc.

New developments at Zoominfo.com are a boon for sourcers, particularly those involved in deep research or passive candidate lead generation. Often misused, the term competitive intelligence encompasses finding as well as analyzing or reporting useful information for business decision support. Focusing on the value-add that research can bring to an organization sourcers now have a big friend with Zoominfo’s new company search by Keyword.
